My hazard warning lights on my 2001 Range Rover 2.5DSE come on any time I open the door. They continue to flash then stop for about 30 secs to a minute and then resumes flashing.

Only way to stop this is to disconnect the battery and sometimes when I reconnect the terminals it goes off but mostly stay on.

Can anybody help with this problem????

Thanks

Bad connections, fault in the BECM, bad earths, underbonnet fusebox, just for starters. Check for wet carpet around drivers seat.

:welcome2: to the joys of the P38:rolleyes:

Thanks

Earth cables are clean and dry, the drivers seat is bone dry as well. I've also visually checked the fusebox which looks to be OK.

I've also changed the hazard switch and the sensor for the alarm inside but to no avail.

How can I check my BECM for faults?

Thanks

Could it be the alarm being set off????

Hazards flash for 30secs then pause then flash 30 secs then pause etc with the alarm....

Just means the sounder unit is U/S or disconnected.

As Data says, get on a Testbook/Faultmate et al. and check the BeCM configuration first.
