Hi JBarlow

I had a similar problem to yours, only difference is that mine is an 03 Disco and a Haynes manual is non existent.
You can try www.landrovertechinfo.com this is the website that LR use themselves and covers all land and range rovers, you should find all the info you need on it, the only drawback is that you need to subscribe to access all the information.

They have different subscription options ranging from one day to a year, I paid for a month and then printed off all the information I needed at my leisure ie. manuals, wiring diagrams, diagnostics etc but be prepared to use up plenty of paper and ink as the info is extremely detailed and thourough (as would be expected since it is being used by LR mechanics for their reference)

Hope this helps.
Cheers
Peter ;)

Spent ages searching all sorts of websites, emule, bit torrent etc and came up with a scanned 200tdi pdf workshop manual - in french  Bollocks.

So I gave up and bought a 2nd hand paper copy off ebay. It looks great, highly recommend it with lots of detail and pretty pictures etc. I did find an english 300tdi manual on emule - a proper pdf, not just a scan.

back in the days of yer actual mk 1 and mk 2 cortinas, all the stripping down and checking was done in house in england. now they farm the work out . i have a jag haynes manuel that was done in yank land and that is crap, i think the torque figure for the cam cover was something like 150lbs/ft so its easy to see how the more dependant on workshop manuals could fook up things.
anyway blame the yanks! its all their fault

hi jbarlow,
if you have not found it yet, i got mine from the bay, and a lot cheaper on cd, though i would still grab a paper copy if i ever found one, as i find it handy to thumb through, i tend to look at pictures and identify, rather than index use

regards
voith
