Has anyone been to the Devil's Pit?

Has anyone been to the Devil's Pit, just north of Luton?

And if so, what was it like and would it be suitable for an off-road novice with only 1 day's training and his Defender 90?

Also - does anyone know of any similar locations in Herts / Bucks?

ive been and didnt rate it that much being that it isnt very big and at times there is lots of 4x4s going round .

if you can travel up to milton keynes there is a great pay site on a farm in whaddon

and there is lots of space to get dirty and well and truely stuck

Has anyone been to the Devil's Pit?
