Hard to suss Mod parts for PUMA

I'm working my way through a list of upgrades creating a bit of an expedition 110 using a 2010 XS as the starting point. I'm finding it a right struggle to source parts for it. Its been out since 2007 and I thought the market would be teeming with kit for it by now!

Currently working on engine tweaks to get a bit of economy, smoothness and grunt.

Centre pipe and decat pipe
Snorkel & Performance filter
EGR Blanking
Silicone hoses then intercooler
all followed by a stage 1 remap

Anyone got any experience of this on the PUMA engine?

What kind of modifications are people doing? Not interested in flash changes for changes sake. Just things that will offer me something back!
 
If you just wanted a mild change, get a good remap done as in one done by a reputable company like Alive Tuning. The software map can be programmed to keep the EGR closed during normal running conditions, so this is a software thing, not hardware like Td5. Start here.

If that's not enough, go for the decat and performance system.

Once you've done this, get an Alive intercooler and the XDB hoses.

I've done a few of these this year and I have had positive feedback from the customers. I've been holding off doing my 110 Puma SW 10MY but want to get something done after Christmas.

Alive also do a modified Turbocharger which I've not see yet.

Is this not the ford motor that was rated at 180hp for the commerical ford transporter? and was detuned for the defender? question is then could the ecu from the commercial be swapped into the defender

Perfect example. The website doesn't make that clear at all. I can find a PUMA intercooler and thats it!

pop down, our kid lives in SALE, so anything ya need he's always down here , and can bring back.......we are open on Saturdays too, except this SATURDAY....laning in the Peaks with LRM mag
 
I've been trawling your website and cant see an address but from your area code I'd say Birmingham. I'd like to see where I can take my Defender although speed isn't high on the list currently.
