Help Please. I have a 2001 TD5 90. Of late I have had trouble at low speed with it Kangarooing. It is especially bad when trying to maintain a speed in 1st and 2nd gear. The only way to stop it is to accelerate to to dip the clutch. Last week I was trying to maintain a slow speed up a steep track and it was impossible to keep smooth. Help it is driving me mad.

Give it a decent service, at least new filters and oil all round.

Then check the usual TD5 stuff, oil in the injector harness etc. Loads of info on the forum, have a search .. :)

As paul D said but if all of those are OK when did you last change your clutch? If your clutch is worn or contaminated it can slip if you ride it to get smooth traction at low revs. Slipping at higher revs is less noticeable you just wont have had as much power

I have checked on oil in Loom and all clear. Recently serviced and new clutch about 4 months ago. Changed the Maf sensor and accelerator pedal. It is fine driving at normal speed and cannot fault it. The problem is at slow speed as I cannot keep things smooth. When it starts kangerooing i have to dip the clutch. Help...
