Disco 2 Hard starting and power loss

I had my 2004 discovery TD5 Landmark re chassis done and after a week of it running with no problem, it has started to have a hard start and I think a misfire. so far I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, the fuel filter housing was changed about a year ago for a new one, changed number 5 injector nanocom was reading + 35 all injectors are now between -4 to +5, changed the FPR for a new one as it had a very small leak, Injector seals and washers, injector harness, all fuses and relays, took fuse box from engine bay and put dielectric grease on all the connections. I'm not getting any faults on the nanocom. I just done the FPR today and the purge cycle twice and it was still hard to start, I'm going to wait till tomorrow morning and try a cold start, any help with this would be very gratefully appreciated.

You appear to have covered most probable faults although that is no guarantee you've cured them. The other possible fault for poor starting that springs to mind is the starter motor. There is a known problem of the starter motor where although cranking is braking down electrically and interfering with the crank sensor signal. There are aftermarket shielded cables available to help cure this known gremlin.

The other known fault, well one of them, is that if your batt isn't up to snuff it might crank over but still not fire as the ECM doesn't see enough voltage.
Try jumping it from another car, and/or get your batt properly tested.
Frustrating, I know.

+1 for both ^^^ also check if the red plug is not full of oil if you didnt keep cleaning it from rezidual oil after you replaced the injector loom

Thanks for the reply's guys I changed the starter last year when I also had a starting problem that turned out to be fuel related the battery is also under a year old I changed that before winter last year. I have a second hand fuse box that looks better than the last one that I replaced, when I replace that today I will check the red plug again. Again guys thanks for all your help, I'm really getting to my wits end on this after the thousands I have spent on this now. could I change the ECU from my 2004 auto to my 2004 manual just to eliminate this as well ?

Well guys tried starting it this morning still three turns before it will start very roughly and then settles down any thoughts?
