...hit lucky my average mpg is 30 over the last 11 months (28000 miles) I have recently installed a gas conversion that has given me an extra 3-8 mpg at present, but I'm still tinkering with the setup.
My next purchase will be a Roverdrive as I've heard good thing about them.
Best advise I can offer is keep on top of basic maintenance and it will pay back in the long run.

Was gas conversion expensive? Not looked into that for general road use.
No little about Roverdrive. Looks like a good idea though. It's all a compromise for me. Want the best of both worlds, a day to day runner, and something to tinker with and play off piste!

Think it was about £600ish but not really worth it unless your doing lots of miles (I'm on 120/day!). If your engine is in good condition and it's set up correctly it can make driving less of a hassle as you need less gear changes.

I have just recorded 37MPG!!!!
I was running diesel/LPG/2stroke!
I saw a post on here about pitting 2stroke in your tank and gave it a try.
I was gob smacked!
I worked out the total cost off all the fuel/oil and divided it by the cost of diesel to work out the equivalent MPG. I have had my brainy wife double check my figures as I didn't believe them.
I would recommend giving it a try.
