My handbrake is stuck on my 90 i have taken off the prop shaft but cant get the drum off for it to release have taken out the 2 countersunk bolts that hold it on but i cant wobble it off or prise it off,,any ideas? Do I need a special tool?

:D
YIPEE! ITS OFF

First i hit the acuator!
Then I hit My Finger
Then I hit The Hub
Then I hit My Finger
Then I had A Bottle Of Beer
Then I hit the hub
Then It Moved
Then I got a CrowBar
Then it Came Off Along with some knuckles...

Thing is the shoes are still out so im not entirely sure what to do next about releasing them..well, thats not true im gonna have a beer! but tommorow morning ill be poking around so if theres any suggestions on how to fix this either temp or perm then i would be gratefull as im a little unsure what to do next.. It doesnt have the adjuster like the L reg one does...

Seriously Guys, The L reg ones have like a conickle do da that you adjust but this has f all looks like all the adjustment has to be done on the cable. Anyhoo iz back together nn workin thats what matters. The actuator was sticking in so i greased the little Mongrel.

As you screw the conickle do da in it pushes two pistons out which expand the shoes.

I'd back the cable adjuster off as far as you can then screw the adjuster in till the drum catches on the shoes, back the adjuster off so the drum int catching, then adjust the handbrake cable so the drum is locked up at three notches on the handbrake. Otherwise as the shoes and drum wears you wont be able to back the adjuster off to clear the shoes in the drum and you'll be posting on here asking how to get the drum off cos it's too tight.
