Handbrake lock - jet lock

Just having a butchers at ways to deter the Scrotes.

My way of thinking is that every little bit helps, if they want it they will get it. But to stop the local scrotes trying to get away with it. I have seen these,

Maybe I've missed something but couldn't this be bypassed by cutting the handbrake cable from underneath?

Similar items been around before.

Easily bypassed by cutting the cable underneath.

Unless your handbrakes 100% working you can just push them along anyway.

Not worth the trouble really.

But just to stop the local scrotes thinking , "let's let off the handbrake and watch it roll down the hill"

Is available in black aswell.

Thinking about the hand brake cable. Could that be armoured in some sort of metal
Conduit or similar?

Ha! That’s true!

If you think the local scumbags might break in to the Land Rover and release the handbrake so it rolls away, then this will most likely stop them.
It will also deter a casual thief who doesn’t have tools to cut the cable.

They do not need to break into it, it does not have a roof on it. ....

What you need is a quick way of winding up the hand brake adjuster to lock it on.

Not a bad idea that. Probably fairly easy to come up with, sort of servo that winds it to full extension when the ignitions turned off. Then when started winds back in to a previous set point...
