Handbrake lever

Hi all i was footering with the disco on sat and i seem to have broke the handbrake lever.

i took out the centre consol in an effort to fit the stereo into the tiny gap available for it.

when i put the consol back on i seem to have done something to the handbrake lever so the button is jammed in.

does anyone have a picture of how the cable is supposed to attach to the lever to make sure i have re-attached it properly.

No pic of it, but if you look at the bit where the cable attaches it's an eccentric pawl that can flip over, so the cable doesn't fit correctly .. it can still be attached but it's un useable. Easy fix, take the cable off again and use a screwdriver or snipe nose pliers to flip it back over, re-fit the cable into the pawl ..
