Hi I'm new to this site, I own a Freelander 2 which I've had for about a year.
I need to replace the rear wheel bearing, the problem I'm having is with the handbrake cable. Is there an easy way of getting the cable out of the back plate. I know the cable is held in by three retaining clips on the end of the cable but how do you release them. I've tried poking small screwdrivers down the hole, I've tried grinding down small nails and tapping them down the hole bit to no avail . I'm clearly missing something.
Any help would be appreciated .
