Undo the propshaft nuts & bolts. and the 2 screws holding the drum on and remove drum. once you've done that it's no different from any other drumbrake setup. except there's no hydraulics.

if yu are getting drips of oil, be wary! it is likely to be the rear transfer box oil seal gone. without fixing this, any brake replacements will get oil saturated. yu can only tell when you have the thing apart. If yu are ordering the bits from paddocks - get a new oil seal at the same time - its only £1.

best thing, i found, is to take the whole thing apart, wash in petrol if contaminated with oil, order the new bits in and then re-strip and rebuild. Its about a mornings job if yu take yo time.

If you get a new seal I wunt get a Paddocks one, tek the owld un to a bearing an seal stockist an get a decent one, might cost a fiver but you won't have to change it next month.

you may want to change to output seal from the transferbox whilst you are doing it :D, I had to get a new expander unit for mine a while ago since it had been full of **** for so long it had gone rusty so not work proper :)
