Hand brake cables

Half the old one is off. New one purchased ready to go on.
However my hand break cable is looking mighty mauled!

Does anyone have a rough idea how much a replacement is?

Silly question in a way , as it's got to be changed. But in these credit crunch times the money has to be found. Can anyone help?
