Hi All ! I am Luca (43 y.o.) from north Italy (lake district near Varese)
Some years ago i falled in love with a Series III petrol ... She reminds me old trucks that i drove in the past with a lot of fun ..
After an year of understandement , an year of overhauling , another year to ban the mistakes i've done in the process , that is the result :
2 1/4 petrol 3MB ; 9,5:1 gasflowed head (self made) , 4 Mahle +030 pistons , weber dmtl and intake manifold from 2.5 90/110 , 4-2-1 extractors and big bore exhaust (self made) , Setrab oil radiator with thermostat from a tdi engine , electronic ignition , smiths rev counter from a Triumph , suffix D gerabox (self made) with Santana glr120 overdrive , gme parabolics ( the rear in the pic are just collapsed grrr..) and procomp shocks , vent holes in both wings , and yes .. she is red bottomed !
