Halfords f/synth. £10.

Hello all.

Dropped into my local Halford today in Stockport and saw they had a range of Fully Synth oils for £10.00 for four Ltr.

So i grabbed a few 5w/40s for me TD4. Says suitable for Mercedes mmb 229.3 and BMW LL-98 and so on.

5 litre 5/40 fully synthetic at Europarts is £12.49

If that's the stuff in the silver bottles, I used that for 100k miles in my Mk1 MX5 at 6k intervals. When I had to strip part of the engine to do the belts and have a general poke around, I found the engine was absolutely spotless inside. It's good oil IMO. I passed the car on to a mate's mum at 250k miles and it's still going strong a few years later.
