Hey everyone. Hope u all had a great christmas.

Was driving home from bury through rochdale when some silly old **** came from opposite me and cut accross my path to turn right.

I slammed on (ol series 2a brakes in the wet!)

Hit the side of his piece of **** car with the front of mine!

..... Fuming with rage, i approached the car.

A 60/65 year old bloke gets out - the driver.
O sorry lad, i thought u were letting me turn?

W A N K E R!!!

His car has been written off.

My trusty 43 year old landy had a crushed bumper and a dented near-side wing. Still running fine.

Swapped details with the old codger.... SAGA... Bloody saga!!

He should be using his free bus pass, not piloting a kamakazee missile that was now a wreck at the side of the road.

Anyways,
Got half way home after awaiting the RAC to pick his car up... it started overheating!

9pm, on the tops near hollingworth lake and foggy as feck!

... radiator had burst. ****ed water everywhere.

Made it home, stopping every ten mins to let it cool down.

Fitted new radiator today. Engine knockin its bollocks off!

..... Now im in a pickle.

Do i wait for the insurance and blame the engine being melted due to the crash....

or do i accuire one myself and put it right?

I want to fit something a bit quicker than the original 2.25 diesel, will a 2.5 n/a from a 90 fit?

I also have a series 3 gearbox that i've kept spare as the original aint the best... may aswell fit it at the same time.

Carl :(:confused::(

ahh .....

When you sprung the leak maybe that was the time to call out the rescue ,instead of crawling home...

Insurance companies will try everything to get out of a claim....I cannot see them stumping up for a new engine....

And you may have to wait the pensioner to admit liability, which having reconsidered his options he may not...

Good luck...
