my 06 td4 was gutless at low revs and produced blue smoke on start up.i changed all filt.ers including a very oiled up crankcase filter. It's now a different vehicle.no smoke and pulls away a treat.

always good to also check the vacuum hoses for splits ,
also do an egr blank
turbo filter, that sits at the back on the engine, left hand side as u look at the engine , is only connected one end on the pipe
if u go over into the freelander section there is plenty of great help there
