1 trip to the local tyre depot fella, check

"Sorry mate, these wheel nuts won't fit!"

Wots up wiv em

Have you bought alloy type nuts for steelys or sum ink

Ordered the right nuts for Defender alloys but they sent the wrong ones! The wheel studs are far too wide for the ones they sent...

another "advantage" of buying online

daughters car battery gives up 60 mile away (at uni) so order battery online thru ebay , after looking up on their website. order last thing Sunday so s to be front of queue monday for delivery 24hour courier on tues . daughter gets jump start and drives up tues . finish work ring home battery not arrived . Get home ring supplier , battery was sent , makes enquiry , courier has been in accident in morning , broke ankle . I get courier number , and ring , will deliver next day , so i asked didnt they put in another van , as surely they have back up plan , answer No. So then 70 mile roundtrip to get battery . When i get to fit , wrong one doesnt have bottom ledge. So daughter has to be back next day for lectures etc. So I secure with ratchet strap and send her on way . i contact supplier , says my fault as says on their site to confirm battery right for vehicle before order , but they dont work sunday , due to variation in models . In this case , irrelevant as the vehicle has only ever had one battery fitted with ledge , none without . I then tell them if they go to the battery makers site it lists the correct battery , and they have cocked up with their battery selection data . They still maintain it was my mistake, and should be at my expense !!

:D:D
lol

I`ve been a ebayer since ages ago, bought more than I`ve sold though.
only had just a few hicups with purchases..

its with the bigger items I double check my order, even look at my choices of sellers to compare the right number in the case of a battery, as most suppliers go by battery numbers..

even bought loads from china, the only hiccup was rectified, but after another wait....
example was christmas lights, one order was late, they asked me what I wanted, wait or refund, said I`ll wait, so that batch will do for my gazeebo later in the summer.
them new cree 10watt spotlights, got a few of them now, ordered a PIR one, never came after 35 days, contacted the supplier who again asked money back or wait again, said waitings fine....7 days later one arrived  quick I thought, then 5 days later another arrived :D
bogof is just fine with me too..

I am never selling on eBay again. Some buyers are complete tits. Not meaning the OP I hasten to add

I do most of my shopping online and as a buyer, I'm not a tit either. :D 95% + of my purchases are fine, the percentage of my sales going well, without hitches, queries, moans and stupid questions doesn't get anywhere near that!

Car booting in future or local selling page on FB.

Hate selling stuff, in fact worse still is trying to GIVE stuff away! advertised my daughters bed as free to collect, as she had out grown it, yet it was as new condition, still available at around £280......all we got was hassle.
People didnt turn up when they said they would, We took it apart after they seen it, yet they wanted us to help put it together for them at other end, finally it went...without a thank you!
Glad my wife had handled this as I would of told the miserable sh** to just go f** themselves!
This was FREE FFS!
