Grinding noise in 2nd gear

Hey all, was just wondering if you can help! I've recently had the transfer box & gearbox changed on my 200tdi an i have noticed that everytime i go into 2nd gear it grinds. If i'm changing up or down into 2nd it does it. The bloke at the garage said it shud settle itself down but i cant c that happening!! An yes it was second hand parts he used.

take it back - its a known fault on lt77 boxes - it will only get worse.

yeh , what daft said .... its bad synchros , and it aint gonna settle . take it back and tell him to sort it , he's bluffin ya ....

if you supplied the box's then you have no come back, if he supplied then its down to him to sort it.

Yeah i think i shall be ringing him 2mz. Only jus got it back after bout a month tho so dont want it to go again!! As long as i get it back in time for flood season i'll be a happy man!
