Greetings

I've lurked on here for years but not posted much. This is all about to change as I get my hands properly dirty with Gloria, my ex army Series III 109 FFR. She's a solid old truck, owned for about seven years now and is very much as she was when I bought her at auction. I've messed about with a few things, replaced the carb with a Weber and put a new coil on. In the last 12 months though I've started to spend some money on getting her up to shape - new 1 tonne springs and shocks, exhaust, brake pipes and track rod end all fitted by Steve Hill Land Rovers of Brislington last year and right now she's with Neil Mitchell of Wiltshire Land Rovers who is fettling the mechanics, changing worn out rear prop shaft U/J cups and getting the wheels all pointing in the right direction. Next step is going to be to take all the paint back to bare metal, treat some surface rust on the bulkhead and give her some new camo.

Away from Gloria I'm a PR consultant and journalist, I've got a couple of Jags, a couple of motorcycles and am trying to save enough money to get my private pilot's licence.
