Simply by chance, I became an owner of a Land Rover Discovery 2 about 5 months ago. My son found a 04 Disco 2 on Craigslist, needed work. I went to look at it and it looked to be in good shape, a lot of money invested in it (bumpers, sliders, TF lift kit, brand new tires on powder coated rims), but price was too much. Leaking oil, misfiring, radiator had hole from PO changing water pump and hitting radiator. After voicing my concerns, we thanked him and left. Got a call about 30 minutes later, and he reduced the price, by 800.00 and thew in an 03 Disco 2 SE7 to boot. 03 was misfiring, but everything else was in real great shape. So I agreed on the price and we took a trailer and picked up the 04, and my son drove the 03 to our house. Only about 15 miles to our house. And so began our journey into what has become a fun and learning experience.
