Just a quick note to say hello and introduce my self.
I`ve just been paid out by the insurance people after i put my Toyota Surf on it`s roof. It was going to cost 3 and a half grand to fettle the body work, and another 5 to sort the engine out.I`d spent a lot of time moding the surf,4" suspension lift.2" Body lift, ran it on 33" rubber etc,It was a very good machine
So i`ve decided to get a Disco, not 100% sure why yet, but i hope to do similar mods to this as well.
I`ve spent alot of years driving defenders on and off road, and i don`t think there the best of motors,(i could never drive it with the window shut).RR to much brass, and freelanders, well lets not go there, so the discovery it is.
No doubt i`ll be asking for advice from the experts out there
