PS - I used to own a Isuzu Trooper. One day it split a wheel clean around and the car fell off the road. Isuzu told me it wasn't unknown for wheels just to split into two halves, right round the middle. Reassuring to know it wasn't just me got my car written off becauswe wheels split.

That's worse than been a merkin.

What a warm welcome, indeed. Carl Over is either the new stig, judging from the mogodon.com links or he's one of the main men/senior landyzone members, dangling a bit of bait for the piranhas on the welcoming committee, using an alias. On the other hand, the poor destroyed soul, should he be a range rover owner who's accidentally erased a part of his/her post, hasn't returned. I can't think why that would be.
