It seems the lift pump is being a bit naughty in the Landy, it still manages to start but takes a lot of effort.
Could this be the cause of smoke from the exhaust when lifting off the accelerator?

What colour Andy, black or white/blue?

Could be pump timing. Valve stem seals. Turbo. Or if you're still unsure of the bores they could be letting a bit of oil by.

I think it was white, it's been producing every possible colour of smoke in copious so I can't remember exactly what happened when.
It's mostly calmed down now that it's had a chance to burn off whatever crap has been floating around in there.

PMs sent. Let me know if you haven't received it.
I haven't planned a route yet but I'm sure I can rough something out. Found some new lanes to try. Well I don't think we've done them before anyway?!?

Got my big shocks properly mounted up now so I'll be able to make it Sunday :)

Even gave her a quick wash off :p

I've got a roller fair lead for wire type winches if anybody has use for it can have it?? Will be going in the scrap bin otherwise with a few bent track rods & drag links got sat around.

Max, can I have the fair lead please.
Not sure when I can pick it up though as SWMBO has vetoed playing on Sunday, she has other plans for me :(

Nice shock mounts, would like to look in person, they look ace. How much articulation do you have now?

Well this was with my old rear shocks, 15" travel, now running 18" air shocks so will be crazy amount more..
Hopefully if we do wagoners wells lane on Sunday will see how well it flex's but would need a forklift or ramp to max it out now. Unless the Wide flex a frame joint will stop it then might have to get a Four link rear setup and remove the a frame altogether.

Flat,
Running the same rear shocks now as ricks 110 bobtail here. He makes all the suspension components himself and is doing very well running the small business on the side of his main job! RAC parts on Facebook if you want to see more of his work!

You have more articulation on one wheel than all 4 of mine added together. That's pretty cool.

Isn't there the possibility a rock or something could get stuck where the springs dislocate and bugger stuff up?
