Ah got ya.... I was wondering what you had. I'm completely standard rover V8 still on twin strombergs.

Was really nice to meet a few faces and pick up a few tips too

only took a few pics

That was an awesome evening! apart from me getting stuck about 10 feet into the first lane I only got the one picture, I was too busy enjoying myself. It was nice to meet you guys and thanks for all the tips

Yes please, was talking to wifee today about asking if we can do a session in/around the bowl.

She's gutted she couldn't make it last night, she'd had a busy day and her arthritus was playing up and she'd of been in a lot of pain today if she had come.
Shame as she missed a great night.

Got my fuel gauge working now, the lecy plug had come off the sender. Nice easy job.

Does anyone of the group know where we went?

I've studied the maps I have and have located most of the lanes but am still missing a few. mostly near the end of the evening when it was too dark to take notes of signs etc...

The ones I have found -
-the first two near Four Marks
- the third one (where SJ knob appeared and stayed :laugh::laugh
- I think the next one led us to Selbourne
- I know the next one after Selbourne, as I took a detour then re-joined the group

After this, I am at a complete loss

If you need to be specific in locations please PM me, I've tried to keep it vague for obvious reasons

I have to go food shopping - such an interesting Saturday night! But am def up for some lanes very soon!

Next few weeks am fairly flat out so will be a struggle until 2nd week jully ideally,

Second week in July is good for me, I was getting worried that you'd do it the first weekend in July as I'm away then and I don't want to miss the punch bowl run.

Fitted my steering guard today, also took the side steps off ready to fit the tree sliders tomorrow.
I'll be welding up my inner wings as well as I have access to the welding shop

What about evenings?

Yup can do eavnings! Best get Locky make a route up once we sort a day/night as he knows the lanes near the punchbowl better than me

Evenings sounds good to me, just been told we're busy during the day on the 12th (motorcycle rideout from Alton) and 13th (day out at Rushmore) so we'll be in the area if it's that weekend.

Only got one side welded up today as there was a lot more rust than it first looked

I don't mind an evening either

Have just been up the punchbowl and that pikey from over near Alton 'the tw a t with the flat' is back up and running

Also noted a few lads in cars parked up just off the byway (nearest to the north end of tunnel). The Mrs wasn't too pleased as instead of parking at the car park that end I had to drive the lane then park up the top near the café, only went to take the dogs out for a run.

What about this weekend coming?
