OOooppps, been reminded of my commitments - got to home stuff tomorrow as it turns out. Will try and sort something soon though, need to get some practice in before Salisbury!

Went for a quick laning session on my way home from my mates night as I was wide awake, Hogden Lane entrance from the Ranmore end the bit to the right as you enter where people were going off-piste has been blocked off by the national trust within the last week which is good Bad bit I found Just along from there, past the houses at the foot of the climb up, someone has attempted to block the lane with a massive tree stump

Not at all implying that the two are linked... But that tree looks ****ing heavy and when I tried to move it with the 110 it was not liking the idea. You can just get round it (Whoever put it there is extremely thick, as if you wanted to block the lane you could have put it 50m earlier... )

Just wondering if laning is planned this weekend?

Didn't know if every one has gone into hibernation,sold up or jumped ship to another forum?
Anyone planing any playing around surrey and sussex?

Well, anyone got any suggestions of a good route? Only routes I know are all around Hindhead really, but prefer to check out some new routes/areas really.

Would love to tag on at some location/meeting place. Sat 24th mar mid pm when horses and ramblers association have gone home. Can still do 3hrs before dark ?
Will be guided by majority vote ?

I'm a relative newbie to this, so would rather tag on an experienced group that knows routes. I did go out for a short run through surrey 6 weeks back with V8 man. I'll text him up.

Yeah the only routes I know are the Bockett's farm which V8 man showed me. There is also Pilgrim's way in maidstone but I haven't been there, if we can get Steve onboard he'll show us.

Well I'm wanting to stay more Hindhead way no way can I run to a Maidstone trip. I know all round the Devil's Punchbowl, Frensham etc, but that's about it

I now have to work saturday , may get out mid afternoon 2.30/3 ish if anything is going on i'll take landy to work and go from there.

Steve I don't think the arrangements ever got finalised, so no i didn't get out. Alas always open to new ideas/routes etc as a relative newbie. Although the summer race season is about to get into swing so spare time will be scarce.
