Hi guys. I'm pretty new to all this but have been watching the thread for a while and you all sound like decent guys so thought I would introduce myself. I'm Matt and I live in Walton-On-Thames not too far from the Painshill junction of the A3. I've got myself a 1994 200 TDI 90 in postman pat red and I'd be up for playing in the mud. I work shifts so will be around at odds times so if anyone is about just PM me. Here is the truck, I look forward to meeting some of you!

I'm good for both days, I may have my old manager coming in his freelander too. But I'm happy for either days, whatever suits whoever wants to come

Welcome Matt, hope to see you soon! I'm in Surbiton/kingston

Welcome matt, im doing the salisbury plains trip on sat guys and its gonna be a really full day so not sure if we will be up to it on sunday, so if you go have fun, will def be up for the following weekend though ok

As before, I'm available this weekend so if anyone wants to go (I'll try not get lost this time) then PM me, also when it begins to snow!

If by tomorrow evening we have 4 then I'm happy to go, note I got lost last time I led an exped out into surrey!

Also any other areas aside from the usual you want to try just post it up.

And pray for rain, the frost has made the ground hard and uncomfortable for my leaf springs!

I read the map wrong, went to shere and drove past the track with the TRO (I think its that one) before reconsulting the map and realising it was TRO'd and infact about 2 miles back. But I did leith hill with Matt and a few VW campervans infront, was quite a good one, then we did leith hill from the other end, that was a bit more difficult and my exhaust/suspension made a hell of a groan!

Well i know some other good lanes but not exactly local one set out Lewes way, or pilgrims way over maidstone way just depends how far you want to go they are both an hour or so to get to ?

My passengers wouldn't mind a roadtrip (I hope) so we'll see on the day? Aslong as everyone else is happy to as well

Well if we are doing Lewes or Pigrims way bocketts is completely the wrong way for me so whats happening as i wont have access to a pc tonight ?

Very good point (after google mappng it) where's better for you? And everyone else obviously. I'm staying in Bookham tonight hence the bocketts suggestion.

The floors open to suggestions

Yes you climbed that muddy slope easily im blaming the weight, your series is much lighter than my disco or the cherokee (i hope lol) and your chunky tyres lol, was good fun though nice to see you chaps again too.

Hehe I think you'll find mines heavier thus my tyres dug in more :)

Was a good drive though, and as before I nearly got lost (almost missed the turn back down the slope) luckily a tree put me on the right course
