I'll be there, not going to promise a time as im in a series so god knows how long it'll take - no point in convoying with the rest of the rugby lot!
Will bring the other half too as she's on day release from the nuthouse...

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances i'm going to have abort my mission for this evening.
Have a cracking evening and I'll see you all on the next one.

Well thanks all for tonight, if nothing else I learned there is a shocking lack of lingerie shops in rugby. If your all up gor it I'll look at arranging an April meet, anyone fancy a group of us going to Billing this year ?

Does anybody know the lane that starts on lapworth street, heads under the m40 and finishes on brome hall lane? I have had a look and at the lapworth street end and it has a sign saying unclassified country road (black arrow).

But both ends have gates that have been locked. I spoke to the farmer at one end of the lane and he says the council put the locks on as they were sick of people destroying the lane leaving him with a key.

Somehow I dont quite believe him and was wondering if anyone had any more info on the lane?

Forget what I just wrote!

It has also has a round sign with a picture of a car and bike, surrounded by a red circle. Think this is a ban on vehicles

If it's the lane I'm thinking of Dicks Lane between Kingswood brooke and Bushwood Grange it has a TRO in place

If its dicks lane it is indeed a permanent TRO.

The guy you spoke to sounds like the shouty guy from the last house.

He has the key so the bin lorry can get down. The lanes was re surfaced a few years ago by the council, to get the bin lorry up it.

Plenty in the area to keep you busy though.

Night out
The next planned night out / meeting will be at the
The curzon arms
twycross
cv9 3pl
April 4 , 5 or 6th ?
Is this ok ????????
Suggest we meet at 6 do a few lanes then back to the pub for 7.30. To talk complete crap, dissvuss lingerie shop shortages in Rugby and something to eat im led to belive the food at this pub is really good All welcome.
