With regards to laning in a Freelander, i got mine down Strata Florida, Sarn Helen the later two parts as the neath end now has a TRO, and a few others across wales like Rhayder,Crychan etc all on standard tyres and no mods apart from standard jack and cut down waffle boards, take your time all passible as i reguarlly lane in mine or my disco all over wales most weekends.

Laning not a problem its the scratching my wife is uset about 20K car and I take it out and scratch it up. Not for long trying to get a 90 or 110.

Same with mine i try to avoid the scratches on my freelandy, and so far its been ok, the disco is another story, it's now in a mat finish.

Hiya guys I live in Bridgend and have a disco 200tdi. I have only taken it across the common as I have been on my own. If any of you are going out soon please let know would be grate to give it a REAL go!

Hi everyone!

Well, Wales is safe again, as we are back in our very very flat Netherlands!
We loved every minute of our time and wil certainly be back for more!
The Sarn Helen was great, once we found it! Especially the last part. Loads of loose stone on steep hills and beautifull sights. Beacons way and the Strata Florida were great also. We would have liked a little more water, but nevermind.
Up in Snowdonia it was a litlle harder to find our way, we bought a walkers map but still had trouble finding roads we could drive. We did a part of the old roman way, but it wasn't nearly as exiting as the beacons.
I will try to mail some pictures later.
