PM Disco71; he goes out fairly regularly.

I would offer myself but 3 week old daughter and no time to TLC the Disco leaves me a little 'out of action' at the moment.

Alternatively I am happy to mark up a map for you with some suitable 'beginner' lanes :)

I would appreciate that, but these lanes I take it our still not sutiable for less than two car's.............:)

the local lanes round here aint to bad, D71 has taken me out 2 or 3 times and nothing too major. alot of them 'could' be done alone but i dont think i'd do it just yet, there are 1 or 2 places where you 'could' get stuck in some rutted mud and a couple of lanes are very scratchy with close fences so could get a little tight. there's also the danger of overhanging branches that CAN rip front wings off, as i found out to my cost (within 15 minutes of my very 1st lane!!).

can highly recommend taking a trip or 2 with D71, he knows the lanes and will only take you where your ability and confidence will cope with. hopefully il land this job on thursday an il be able to join up on a few runs in the future, my disco's lookin WAY to clean at the mo!!

yep the quickest damage to a disco i've ever seen !........looking in rear view mirror....theres a bit of trim hanging off Marks wing....oh no its his wing !

hahahahahaha its STILL held in with that piece of wire!! only thing ive added is 2 self tapping screws, only did that so the door doesnt get ripped off anorl!!

give me a shout if you choose to do it tomorrow because i am down in bournemouth picking some stuff up so will be about! would be nice to see some new faces and a new crowd

shame really that its got to be in this order - basically on thursday i should be getting my nice big new mickey thompson tyres - 33's compared with the 235 muds i run now. ahh well!

i hope to see you guys tomorrow!

yup got the details, should be seeing you then! dont know how it is your way so will chuck all the gear in the back anyway just in case

cheers guys, had a good night tonight.

on the way back, not long on the A31 past ringwood and i saw a car with hazards on - and no hard shoulder so was just on the road just past a bend. stopped and turns out it was one mother with 2 young (1 month and toddler) kids in the back and a nasty tyre blowout. good thing i had the recovery gear in the back i towed them to the next layby which was just down the road.

tell you what though i reckon someone would have backended them had they stayed there

you also a nutter that goes on here at stupid o clock! i am fooking shattered - driving to bournemouth and back is fun enough without getting done by the old bill and having 5 hours of laning in the middle. cramp!
