Green lanes

Hi there,

Hi there only just got myself a disco and been off roading with some mates!!! been up in the dark peak, just wondering if any1 knows of any other good places to go and have some fun!

Join a Club and dont go alone!

get an OS map and study it for all the BOAT's then check that they are permitted to drive (wayfarerer project or GLASS)- or you'll ruin it for all of us!

went for a trundle from stretton to wentnor across the longmynd today or rather I would have done but the shooting box to Bridges lane is so chewed up its all but impassable .
I dont think the NT are going to be very pleased
On the upside I found a nice website called wet roads that lists river crossings/fords throughout the country many on right of ways and BOATS (no pun intended) looks like a interesting summer ahead

oh and befor any body asks no I did'nt carry on I turned back rather than make it worse

theres a site in mansfield that locals call the the desert, its a massive site and it doesnt cost a penny

No there's a large parcel of land that belongs to NCB (or whatever they call em selves now) and driving any vehicle/quad/motorbike etc on it is an act of trespass and the police have been seizing and destroying peoples vehicles for driving on it. The golf club tossers have been whinging to the council, who in turn have been bending the ear of the plod who have now got crossers and a a couple of 4x4's to chase people with.
