I'm new to the Freelander but want to take it off road...it looks better with mud on it!
Can anyone recommend somewhere to go off road in East Sussex?

LOL :D:D:D

So you dont think anyone will invite him on a laning trip then :p

I'm sure they will. :)

there is a space on the posh trip is there not? :D :p

He obviously hasn't read the stickies though so i felt he should get a gentle :boink: in the right direction.

I read the stickies! Still as confused as ever!!
From what I understand, I need an OS map & look for the green lanes.
I registered with Wayfinder but haven't worked out how to find my local UID.
I was hoping to use my iPad as a map but according to the reviews on the App Store the OS map tiles cost a fortune!
Can anyone recommend a good & reasonably priced map App for off-roading/green-laning?

An OS map will show the lanes in theory. In reality a lot of them have been closed by the local councils. The only way to know for sure is to contact the council.

You can get some information from trailwise TrailWise FAQ
But you have to join an organisation like GLASS to view comments.

I have the memory map app, but you have to buy the maps. I also use ViewRanger online trip planning and sharing community for the outdoors sometimes to share stuff.

Best way is to join a trip on here, you should never go out on your own.

I've just ordered a lift kit for better ground clearance but I haven't got a winch.
Am I likely to be left behind if I get stuck if I come green-leaning with your group?!
