Hi,
Spent a few weeks on and off trying to find the demented budgie that had taken up residence in my TD5.
changed the fanbelt and tensioner - still there.
change the exhaust manifold gasket - still there.
checked all the turbo plumbing - still there.
Then I got distracted when my front prop started death throw vibrations. Part of the Hookes had failed.
So prop off, new UJs and guess what? The squeal has GONE!
It may have been the failing UJ all the time doing this..
Just a thought.
