i've just had another 'second chance ' offer on e bay... i put a max of 30 quid in.
it sat at 7.50 fer ages , then the day before it ended it shot up to 30.50 . fine i thought someone else can have it..
then that bid was retracted after a few hours..
scam alarm was sounding at level 3 by now.. on the final day it went back up to 30.50.where it stayed till close of sale..
.at this point i was expecting the 2nd chance e mail... and low and behold it has duly arrived with the real crap by-line of " the buyer has e mailed me saying he dosn't require this item any more"
this hours after sale ends...

scam alarm has now gone defcon 25 and a 1/4

so keep yer highest bid low then you wont get stung with these 2nd chance ****s

ok mate no probs.
just like to say that in approx 170 ebay deals, ive had just 3 go sour on me.
that seems better odds than in the retailing high st or market st?

im with door mouse on this one. my feedback is 156, ive only had around 3 snotty deals. sold loads with no problems. had some real bargains. as long as your wary and stay sharp you will be fine. also, dont spend masses of cash :) that way if you do lose, you dont lose much.

aye agreed.
forgot to say that you need some good old common sense.
ie dont buy a laptop off some guy with zero feedback.
be careful of all low feedback members.
beware of the postage rates of some sellers.
cash on collection/delivery is king. use a CC if buying expensive items.
