Good morning gurus. Newbie here with a transmission gear selection issue after some guidance.

The Discovery 4 is an 11 plate with the stick not the dial selector. It’s been driving perfect for years now all off a sudden I have a warning of gearbox fault and HDC. Had the codes read something to do with gearbox software and selector. Any suggestions as to how to remedy this one please.

First thing to do is make sure the battery is 100% ok low voltage will throw a fault for fun.
