Agreed, Steve's a top bloke and very helpful/knowledgeable in all thing's LR.

Not a LR garage but a Motor Factors to avoid Oak Road Factors in Redcar. Bastids just quoted me £33+vat for 1 discovery front wheel bearing kit. And that int even a genuiine or a timkin. In fact he wouldn't even tell me what make it was.


I can get a complete kit for all 4 wheels, on Fleabay for £12.95 + 7.00 P&P

A good parts supplier to use is JSF 4X4 in Norwich they give trade discount if you're a memer of BLRC.

does anyone know of a decent garage in worcesterhisre ??? or preferably someone working form a barn etc... with reasoneable prices ? the garage i found locally wanted £55 just to read my ABS code

A&D, Bridgwater Road, Wimscombe in Somerset have just impressed me, done a great job on my Freelander. Super friendly service backed up by some actual knowledge about Land Rovers and turned it round in 2 days.

Can't ask fore more than that.

We found Mark Smith & Co very reasonable. (Bicester Oxon). Very friendly, knowledgeable staff who remember you.

Got taken for a mug and treated like one at Land Rover Aylesbury (stratstones) so avoid them like the plague.

Bartec engineering in airdrie scotland exelnt service and cheap sorted my freelander in no time

I wasn't blown away by them... using K Motors in Leyland (this is not a recommendation! (yet)) next to see how they do.
