That sounds like fun on a daily basis, what about in winter?
Lots of boxes ticked there,
Range rover,
Middle of nowhere,
Tracks to and from home....
Next you'll be looking into 50/50 tyres and a winch:D:D:cool:

Nothing so crass for the Golden Girl

Although currently on the hunt for a Series or older Defender :D

Addit: She manages fine in winter. I've been living rurally with her since I retired 5yrs ago :) Nice easy driving, use the 4x4 as intended, and engine braking or Hill Descent when needed :)

Series, that's my penny!
With a winch:p

I reckon that going over the potholes or uneven bits slowly is letting wheel move . I guess the potholes are more like humps in the road rather than sharp holes as you get on a real road.
Brake transfers to body. Or I could of course be havering
