as you can probably tell im new to this site!

It looks like i will find a lot of info on here - any way my first question is,

I have a 2003 rand rover vouge 4.4 V8 and the check brake pads light keeps coming on, obviously i have changed the pads but the light is still there. Is there any way i can disconnect the brake sensor cable (tryed disconnecting it at the junction in the rear wheel arch but the light is still on) I dont want to spen the money on a new brake sensor cable but just to get rid of the warning notice.

i hope you can help me out on this!!

and by the way if you need any info on the toyota hilux then that my speaciality!!! (sorry spose i shouldn't mention the hilux bit)
