I should have done this before posting questions, thanks to those that answered and pointed me in the right direction. Recently bought a disco 2 for the winter and taking the wood chipper off road, I always have some form of 4x4 for the winter but sold my hilux so fancied a change this Disco came up at a decent price so I thought why not !!, I also have a 110 hi cap defender thats in the process of getting rebuilt on a fully galvanised chassis, thats an on going project. Great forum.

Looking forward to it. I live for lying in a puddle hitting things with hammers in the dark, mind you Ive had a couple of unimogs so Ive been there and got the t shirt lol. :)

Sounds like you were born to it......:D:D.

Unimogs, now they look fun. Not sure why, but I have a soft spot for them, strangely never driven one tho'.

Cheers

I don't know about being born into it id rather be born into a billionaire family...Mogs are great things until they break, then you must have either deep pockets or be prepared to get the spanners out. I stuck with the older U900 models so there were no electronics on them, just good old spanners and hammer fixes. Once you dried the tears off your cheque book paying for the parts :)
