Hi all!

I'm very new to the landrover world. Have just bought a freelander 2 2009 xs and I love it!

My dad is a discovery owner Nd warned me again freelanders so I'm hoping I don't get all the problems he has warned me about!!

Hope I can help people where required once I find my feet!

hi just seen your sat nav prob...maybe a quick trip back to garage and they will set it for you,, i have the freelander one and other than a little rattle its been superb. with a built in sat nav on my last car..i had same prob ,,in the end i inputted my address as a destination ..then whenever i went on me travels i simple pressed the history and preselected it from there,... ive got a stand alone now with life time updates...even thou my popup stereo has sat nav built in.
so your dads said freelanders a no no eh

Nowt wrong with the later gaylanders IMHO. In fact they are rumoured to be the first reliable Land Rovers for some time.

Ah thank you for your quick response freelanderoig! I bought it privately unfortunately. It doesn't even remember recent destinations! even tried disconnecting the battery to clear the locations that it constantly remembers (that I have never been) but it didn't clear them. Very odd! No...my dad was not impressed haha

its as thou the perm power supply to memory isnt working..wonder if the wires out

now there should be a master reset on the sat nav screens itself mine had one...cleared everything..look in the sat nav book...

try googling...master reset ...sure theres a reset on screen in settings

ide be wary disconected main battery gemma...on mine i have to re calibrate back window and few other items play up ..alarm played up to last time
