Going back to the wolves

After much p1ss taking from friends and family I have decided to remove my 'gay' wheels and put some 'proper' ones on

Doing it tomorrow, don't spose I'll even get out of third in town with these on and it's two and a half inches further to climb in to the cab.

Do get two and a half inches more ground clearance though

good man, what tyres do you have on the wolf rims? General grabber but i cant make out the rest sorry me glasses are outside in the car....

Thats the spare, 235/80 R16

The other four are 2x Insa Turbo and two similar all 235/80/16

Sorry, its only one and a quarter inch extra ground clearance (its only the extra height from the ground to the axle that counts)

Arr but the wolf wheel stands 5 inches taller than the disco alloy because the Disco tyre is half worn (I measured it) so that's two and a half inches more under the axle

Ah - I stand corrected, got 235/85's on mine and ended up having to fit side steps so the missus can get in!!!!

I found buying ear plugs cheaper than side steps.... Pop em in as i walk to the truck, i get in, she moans, i can't hear a thing..

Wolf rims look good, but when are you going to put on some front wheel arch trims?

I wish you'd paint your bumper and wheel arches black - the blue annoys me for some reason

Front arch trims need painting and it's a bit cold, also going to weld new bulkhead outrigger on offside so need the space.

Wolfs back on, looks more like a Land Rover now

Not painting bumper black because it annoys everybody blue

Going to paint 'A' bar and snorkel blue when they get fitted as well

Front trims back on after Christmas with a bit of luck

Bit of grease on me lens so a bit blurred

Going back to the wolves
