I have a 1996 Disco300dti, with all this freezing weather i am having poor starting these mornings. Would there be a thread to changing glow plugs and is it relatively straight forward. You can probably guess I'm no great mechanic!

Do it.
Buy GOOD glow plugs. Good ones are better than cheapos.
Slobber coppergrease on the threads of the new ones.
Ask a friend to show you how to do it.

Thanks folks for responding to the glow plug thread.
By the way would anyone know of a good Landy garage for my disco 1 over in NE London. I'm not sure if I want to wreck the engine on my first job under the bonnet:)
