Glow plug light does not illuminate?

Hi, I've noticed that the amber glow plug light does not illuminate when I switch on the ignition? Is this a simple bulb replacement or is it something more in depth?

had the same problem or so i thought turned out it just wasnt cold enough for the glow plugs to activate

dunt panic yet.....wait til the weather gets colder

which injun do you have, 'cos my td4 glow plug only illuminates for a split second, even in the cold mornings we've been having. wouldn't worry too much as long as it starts ok. Wait till there's a frost on the bonnet and see if it comes on then. Even then, it would be for under a second as they heat up pretty damn quickly.
