Glove box alignment

Is it just me or should you just be happy if you manage to get the glove box to stay closed no matter the alignment?

Mine was a little out of alignment. I added washers under the small metal catch on the glove box to get the correct gap (i couldn't see how these could be adjusted). It latches on both catches now with a perfect gap.

Two allen screws on hinges to adjust those in and out. Two adjusting screws on latches.

I'd be very happy if mine stayed closed. Still its not my kneecaps that it bashes when zooming over speed humps.

Mine gets stuck against the passenger door
Think the hinges need ajusting be its way down on my todo list

gaffa tape it up

Seems that all we RR owners need is soapy water to check if somethings leaking, and gaffa tape to fix things.

Its the most important part of my tool kit
Gaffa tape
Thick Wire (for both electrical and for tieing thing back on)
Couple of spaners/screwdrivers
And a big hammer
Not forgeting the tow chain for when things realy go tits up
