Just got me self a 90 project, but sometime in the past it’s been paint with what looks like gloss paint and it’s flaking all over the place what the quickest easiest way to remove in prep for repainting probably with a gloss roller not looking for a concourse job btw!

It’s had a good clean off since this pic! But still looks poo!

Wet sand back to decent sound paint.
You could use paint stripper but it's messy & you need to be sure you've got it all out of every nook & cranny or it will affect the new paint.

Don't forget to prime it before painting. I have the same problem as you, flaky paint, it looks like the original painter of mine sanded to bare metal and then just brushed green paint straight on. It gives it a certain patina that I like but eventually so much will flake off that
I will be forced to do something about it.

Looks like the da sander will be coming out of retirement then! Was hopi b for an easy life thinking that this bed liner (raptor) may be the way to go as this build was neve intended to be a concourse build but I’ve got to tidy it up and with bed liner the prep is minimal ( knock it back with180 grit and bang it on)

This ones been done in it and look well for it so if I can get mine somewhere close I’d be happy!
