Well hoping it gets repaired anyway as doesn’t run on gas just dies so hoping it’s a cheap easy problem knowing my luck I doubt it .
Could be a simple thing like a solenoid to switch over to gas. Fuel injection work quicker than open system. Sometimes the safety setup on the tank prevent sending gas through.

Hoping so guy looked at it and said parts are hard to get and expensive the system isn’t the best either best nip to bank I think haha.
Depending on how old the lpg model is but a tank is a tank. Is this type in the back where the space for the spare tyre. Or exposed to the elements. I think over a certain age the fittings such as pipes evaporator unit need replacing.

Yeah tanks in spare wheel well but can’t be that many components to it surely. A few fuses relays and the injection module but who knows I’ll find out later today.

I have to be honest & say that my past experiences of LPG conversions have not been good.
Good luck with your installation.

I ripped my old ecu/loom out and fitted a new one, not hard but highlighted a few existing issues I didn't realise, with the new system being so much better

Well he has it running on lpg kept it so he could do a cold start and road test this morning just waiting on a update from them when I can collect. Haven’t rang me to anything is broke needs replacing so hoping not that expensive.

Well good and bad news for me. The LPG system works and it will run on gas for about a minute. Bad news I need a pressure reducer as mine leaks so it has been bypassed that’s why gas cuts out on gas as it freezes the unit. So away we go to try and find one of these as new for that system are expensive so used is best about.

Picked it up and the vaporiser leaks like a sieve on one of the elbows. I don’t know if it’s cracked or what be taking it off tomorrow and see if I can plastic weld it. The make is tartirini if anyone can help and knows a guy that guy that can get them cheap please let me know.

I was always led to believe Tartirini were a good make of LPG systems, That said I would be surprised if spares were not available as well as rebuild kits if you search the web.

The vapouriser itself is metal it’s the coolant pipes that flow around that are plastic and one has broke in the housing. I’m off Halfords get some repair putty as it’s not under pressure and should withstand the heat. Failing it that get a new one so worst case scenario I get a new one.
I’ve looked at rebuild kits and they are just for the seals themselves not the housing.
