P38A Getting fed up already (I think)... HELP!

My handbook has all the cards still in place but the dealer only put the radio code in, no eka.
I can disconnect my battery and the alarm doesn't go off and the radio doesn't lose memory. It's probably been disabled if that's possible, I think it is, and I have nanocom but not sure how to check that. Only just got her on the road after purchasing her as a project having stood 4 yrs unloved, so for now just enjoying her rather than fixing something that doesn't appear broke:)
So, if you don't have EKA, turn it off in the BECM along with the immobiliser before you get stranded needing the EKA

When I first got the nano I did try to look at that but I kept getting the 'cant communicate' or whatever it displayed.
However, I found lots of green in the white block connectors behind the kick panels which have now been cut out and soldered. I don't know if the becm runs through them though and I've not tried the nano since.
If I can disconnect the battery with no issues whatsoever does that mean possibly that only the alarm has been deleted ? Or also the immobiliser as a minimum? Just EKA might still be running?
Sorry for the dumb questions, very new to ECUs and stuff :D

I don't turn the alarm off as that has insurance implications. You access the BECM with ignition off if I remember correctly, it's a long time since I had to look at mine.
It's worth making the effort to check the status of the EKA and immobiliser and turning them off before you enter a world of pain.

Ahh yes, I do recall some readings need different ign positions. When I first got Duchess and shortly after, the nano(and a new handcock battery) I managed to flatten the new battery playing with the nano, working the seats, Windows etc. I couldn't work them with the engine running iirc.
So..beings as I've fixed the white blocks and I know to access the becm ign off(maybe on but not running) I should be able to see what's what.
Still not got round to your Aircon fan mod yet, but I will.

Some dealers put a code on each side of the card to save giving out 2 cards

OK, Is there anyone out there who's willing and able to turn off the EKA and Immobiliser on my beastie (one less issue then)? Problem is, I seem to be in a Nanocom desert...
