Mark might be able to get to the yUK for Christmas, but he will not be able to come back, Brits are no longer allowed, Politicians panicking again so travel lockdown imposed just for Brits.Hope you can get back for your Christmas trip mate.

Tell us about it. My cousin who lives near Chateaubriant usually comes over for Christmas but they daren't this year
Just been told to expect NOT to be able to get over to sunny Belgistan in the near future as we don't seem welcome in France again... A bit of a sod as I've got the makings of a BMW Trike to collect from Gent ASAP.

Ain't going..... Tests upon tests... There would have been five of us going in the bus... Maybe in February.
I understand, we don't need this crap spreading any more than it has and we are will g to take a step back for the moment regardless of any payments lost....

The information I have seen says that even French citizens that live in the UK are banned from visiting except in an emergency

That's true, but I think Brits can return to France if it's their main residence. Like everything else it's as clear as mud. The rules on tests changed on our last trip to the one we took in September.
Any future travel plans are on indefinite hold

UPDATE: We seem to have sorted most of the issues with P19...
When I finally managed to get hold of a code reader which worked, I had a knock sensor on Bank B down. Replaced this this afternoon. cleared codes and ran the truck up - No codes showing! OK so far. Still to clear out choked Cats and clean intake system of deposits. Oh yes, as the truck was getting warm (but not overheating), we pulled the radiator to check it. Glad we did as the fins between the rad & the A/C rad were totally clogged with years of debris (ali fins were breaking down too). Not worth cleaning, so dropped in a new radiator today and just off to fill it when I finish this update..
Thanks to all for the advice given, I've learned lots about P19 (obviously known as PIG).
Now off to start another thread...
