Good Morning all
I bought a 2001 3 door petrol Freelander nearly 9 months ago drove it home and it drove beautifully (also on lpg) parked it up and did not have to use again for several weeks as I also have a Kia Sportage which I had planned to sell.In the meantime I lost one of the keys and remote but I did have the spare set,the remote would not work(even with new batteries and resetting as per handbook)so I contacted Landrover to get the eka code and then called out the AA to enter that for me but that would not work(I did try myself afterwards very carefully as per tips on this forum)I then bought of ebay advertised as a full kit for £120 in Norwich,ecu,remote,white box under dash!!,and alarm unit?( behind fuse box) but still the car wont turn over(starter motor is fine,pwr wire direct from battery) the car unlocks but the radiator fan comes on ! but the engine does not turn over.Any help would be appreciated,regards Roy
