As a new 110 owner I have a million and one questions. So rather than create a new thread for each and every question, if it's OK with you guys, I'll try and keep them all in here.
Problem #1.
Whoever previously owned my 110, in their wisdom decided to fit door speakers, which is all well and good. But there's nowhere really suitable for the wires to go. Basically my speaker and central locking cables just come out from just below where the main dash is, and then feed across above the hinge into the side of the door. Problem is, when you close the door the cables are squashed and when the door is open they're stretched. My right hand speaker cables were actually broken and I had to rewire them, but I can see this happening again.
So, can you buy cable trunking with the clips to fit it nicely and is there a recommended place to position this so that the strain is minimised?
Also, I have 4 speakers with the original factory default ones I assume disconnected. Is there any point in reconnecting them?
